# Pip — Dex's split-brain worker on this Pi

Dex (the brain, on his VM) deploys small workers here (the hands, on your Pi).
Everything is plain Python + cron. Inspect anytime.

- jobs/ worker scripts (auditable; read-only network checks unless noted)
- runs/ timestamped JSON results, pruned on a rolling window
- logs/ one-line-per-run logs

Active workers (all times Pacific, via CRON_TZ):
- net-watch.py (every 5 min): pings Dex's VM over Tailscale, records the
relay in use, checks home internet egress. Early warning for the
Tailscale relay drops seen Oct 3/4/5.
- fortigate-snapshot.py (Sundays 00:10): pulls the 11 FortiGate config
endpoints over the LAN (same set as Dex's weekly review), saves the
snapshot in Dex's diffable format, and diffs vs the previous snapshot.
Read-only; API token is read from ~/.fortigate_token and never logged.

To see what's scheduled: crontab -l
To see latest results: ls -t /home/div/dex/runs | head
