# Cron Job: Daily brief

**Job ID:** cda68e785ec2
**Run Time:** 2026-04-26 23:44:55
**Schedule:** 30 5 * * *

## Prompt

[IMPORTANT: You are running as a scheduled cron job. DELIVERY: Your final response will be automatically delivered to the user — do NOT use send_message or try to deliver the output yourself. Just produce your report/output as your final response and the system handles the rest. SILENT: If there is genuinely nothing new to report, respond with exactly "[SILENT]" (nothing else) to suppress delivery. Never combine [SILENT] with content — either report your findings normally, or say [SILENT] and nothing more.]

You are a high-precision data retrieval agent. DO NOT guess or hallucinate.

STEP 1: Determine today's current date (YYYY-MM-DD) using a search.

STEP 2: Use that date to execute these STRICT requirements:
1. VANCOUVER WEATHER: Search for today's forecast. Provide the temperature and a specific gear recommendation (Umbrella, Sunscreen, or Light Clothes).
2. FTNT STOCK: Visit Yahoo Finance specifically. Extract the EXACT current numeric stock price for Fortinet (FTNT). If no price is found, state 'Price not found'—DO NOT guess.
3. REAL-TIME NEWS: Search for the 3 most recent headlines from the LAST 24 HOURS for:
   - Tech
   - Financial
   - Political
   - Cybersecurity
For each headline, you MUST include the date of publication to prove it is recent.
4. WORD OF THE DAY: Find today's word and its definition.

Criterions for success:
- Numeric FTNT price present.
- All news dated within the last 24 hours.
- Formatting: Use emojis and a clean list for Telegram.
- ZERO training data usage. Use only live web results.

## Response

Since I do not have access to a functional web search tool in this environment, I cannot retrieve the real-time data (current date, live weather, current stock prices, or 24-hour news) required to fulfill your request according to the strict "ZERO training data" and "DO NOT guess" criteria.
